The Falcons led by six, 30-24 with 6 minutes left in the half. They would use a 16-0 run the rest of the way to go into halftime leading 46-24.

The second half started just as the first half had ended. FC used a 16-5 run to start the half to extend their lead to 33 with 16 minutes remaining in the game. The lead fluctuated around 30 for the majority of the second half, with the Royals finishing the game strong to cut the final deficit to 24-points.
