Lady Falcons Welcome Addison Rogers

TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. - Head women's soccer coach David Ashwood has added incoming freshman Addison Rogers from Middleburg, Fla.

Rogers is a 5'8 midfielder that previously played for the Clay County Soccer Club. While in high school, Rogers led her team as the leading goal scorer all four years with 61 career goals. She was also the leading scorer for her club team and the presidents cup with 7 goals. She was named First Team All-County, the team's Most Valuable Player two years in a row, and named to the Northeast Florida All Star Team. Rogers also served as team captain for both teams.

She plans on majoring in Kinesiology in the fall with hopes of becoming an athletic trainer in the future.

"I've known for a long time that I wanted to go to FC," said Rogers. "Getting to play the sport I love at the school of my choice is beyond exciting and I can't wait."

"Addison is another excellent addition to our program, she has everything we are looking for in a player and I'm thrilled to have her at FC," added Ashwood.
