TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. - The Bellevue University Bruins defeated the Lady Falcons 5-0 on Thursday.
Bellevue started the match out strong with two goals in the first 16 minutes of the match. The Bruins took 19 shots and six corner kicks compared to the Lady Falcons' three shots and one corner kick. Bellevue put up three more points on the board to close out the match 5-0.
Florida College was only able to take 10 shots compared to the Bruins' 30. Goalkeepers Gabriella Peralta and Jillian Francis split time in the 90 minute match, with Peralta posting 12 saves on 16 shots on goal and Francis only allowing a single goal.
This loss puts the Lady Falcons at a 2-8-4 overall and 1-1-1 conference record.
