Bio

Trenton Roth heads into his fourth year as the head men's and women's cross country and track & field coach at Florida College, but has over 20 years of experience coaching high school boys and girls back in Illinois.

From 2011 to 2018 he was the head high school track coach of a combined men’s and women’s program with four to six assistant coaches and a fieldhouse with responsibility for hosting several indoor meets and invitationals each year.

In his three years coaching the Florida College cross country teams, the men have won one cross country conference championship and had four individual national qualifiers and an individual conference champion, and the women have had two individual national qualifiers.

The track program has only been in existence for three years, one season cut short due to COVID, but has already had nine All-Conference performances (top 3) and one conference champion.

“I have had a great group of student-athletes to work with, and I enjoy and look forward to coming to practice every day. They are a special group of young people," said Roth.

He resides in Temple Terrace with his wife Beth and children Joshua, Bryce, Jessie, Payton, Braden, Callie, Nolan, and Kai.
