MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Florida College Men's Soccer team was defeated by Faulkner University 11-1 on Saturday afternoon.

The Eagles scored all three goals of the first half 19 minutes into the match, with two of them by Antoine Marques.

The Falcons came out of halftime hopeful after a goal by sophomore Leo Hackett, but were unable to keep up with the Eagles the rest of the match. Senior Markus Sundin had seven saves on 18 shots on goal by the Eagles. Faulkner's Marques and Gabriel Dias both secured hat tricks, a first in Faulkner's program history.

This loss puts the Falcons at a 1-1 record for the season. They travel to the New College of Florida on September 2 with the kickoff time still to be determined.
