Broyles Places Third at Iowa Central Invitational

FORT DODGE, Iowa - The Men's Golf team traveled to Iowa Central Community College this past weekend to compete in their last regular season match of the year.

The Falcons played 36 holes and finished the weekend with a score of 693. Freshman Logan Broyles tied for third place overall alongside competition from Des Moines Area CC and Southeast CC. He finished the first day three-above par and finished two-over on the second day with one birdie.

Aden Bassett tied for 37th with an overall score of 160. He was followed by Brent Walker who finished with a score of 187 as well as Josiah Dieman and Bradley Rogers, who scored 201 and 206.

"After a good opening round, the wind picked up and we didn't get off to the best start on day two. Logan caught fire in the last eight holes going five-under par to finish strong!" said head coach Wilson Wickerham.

The Falcons will travel to San Antonio, Texas to compete at the Continental Athletic Conference Championships at Our Lady of the Lake University, May 1-2.
