Bio

Jesse Repay enters his fourth year on staff at Florida College, and his second year as associate head coach. In his first season on staff at FC, the Falcons finished 14-12, posting their first winning season since becoming a full-time member of the NAIA (2018-19 season). Repay played a key role in the Falcons' defensive improvements. The Falcons made major strides, allowing 74.5 points per game in SSAC play compared to 89.9 the year before.

In his second season at FC, Repay helped the Falcons achieve a record-breaking season. The Falcons were Continental Athletic Conference Champions, finished with a 31-4 record, and reached the second round of the NAIA National Tournament. The Falcons were 14-0 at home. They held opponents to a stifling 40.2% shooting from the field. That ranked 16th in the country.

This past season at FC, Repay helped the Falcons achieve a 27-6 overall record, 2-seed in the NAIA National Tournament, and a final season ranking of #14 in the country. The Falcons reached the Round of 32 for the second consecutive year, despite battling a multitude of injuries down the stretch. They defeated 15-seeded Life University in the first round, after being awarded a host bid for the opening rounds.

Prior to coming to Florida College, Repay served as an assistant coach at Eastern Oregon University. He helped lead them to a 17-14 record in the 2019-20 season. Before EOU, Repay was the graduate assistant for the Tiffin University men's basketball program in Tiffin, Ohio. In his lone season with the Dragons, he helped guide the team to multiple program bests in both offensive and defensive statistics.

Previous to coaching at Tiffin, Repay served two seasons as an assistant for the Carroll College men’s basketball team in Helena, Montana. In his first season with the Saints, he helped guide the team to a 29-6 record, Frontier Conference regular-season and tournament champions, a one-seed in the NAIA Division I National Tournament, and an Elite Eight appearance. In his second year Coach Repay was promoted to lead assistant where he helped guide the team to a 28-6 record, Frontier Conference regular-season and tournament champions, a number two seed in the NAIA Division I National Tournament, and a Final Sixteen Appearance. During his two seasons with Carroll College, the Saints finished in the top ten on the court and in the classroom with a team GPA of 3.35. The Saints also had a 100% eligibility and graduation rate over those two seasons.

Repay runs the strength & conditioning program, assists in player development, recruiting, and monitors the academic success of the team.

Repay started his coaching career at H.B. Plant High School in Tampa, Florida, where he was an assistant coach from 2013-2016. During that time Plant had a 100% graduation rate, 2 consecutive conference team GPA awards, and 6 collegiate scholarship athletes.

Repay graduated from Saint Joseph’s College – Indiana with a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications. He was a member of the Saint Joseph’s Men’s Basketball Team from 2008-2012. He is a native of Ogden Dunes, Indiana, and a graduate of Andrean High School. He, his wife Jenny, and their son Jay reside in Fish Hawk, Florida.
